Monolithic glass doors

Strength characteristics of the glass leaf increase when in framing, but aesthetic effect disappears. Glazing is mounted on a sash or window frame and does not need subsidiary profiles. Monolithic glass doors are usually made of a crashworthy glass. Crashworthy glass is a protecting glass which sustains an impact of a free falling body with normal ratio. • glass strength increase 5-7 times
• while breaking the glass goes to pieces with blunt edges, safe for human.

• Cuts for accessories mounting
• Holing
• Edge- processing (grinding, polishing, facet)

Triplex is a sheet glass constructed with two or more glass plies and sealed with a polymer film.

For entrance doors one uses glass of special purpose- fireproof and wired. Safety sandwich glass is leaves of a silicate glass with organic glass, polycarbonate or strengthening film sealed with an polymeric sealant . Glass is a multiple ply block with safety characteristics.

Ball-proof glass is a protecting glass which sustains gun shots and impedes bullet penetration.

Stained-glass is used widely in door glass panel decoration. Stained glass technology is based on junction of colored glass pieces. Glass, used in this technology, can be grooved and rough as well as special colored and toned sheet beveled glass. Glass joins with flexible metal stripe. If before toughening glass is colored, during toughening the paint gets imbued with glass and they become a single whole. As the result, there is colored glass with dulling effect . This coloring method is called stemalite.

Insulating glass. It is constructed with two or more glass plies, separated by a desiccant-filled spacer and sealed with an organic sealant. Float glass, wwired glass, triplex, sun glass, patterned glass, selective glass, stained glass are used as insulating glass.
